The Position
– Child and Family Support Practitioner
The Child and Family Support Practitioner provides supervision and support to young people residing in the program and is a member of the team ensuring treatment plans are implemented. All workers are expected to assist with daily household routines and chores, minor facility maintenance and direct child support. Child and Family Support Practitioners must have good working knowledge of computer programs and skilled with basic office applications as there are daily administrative tasks as well as case management tasks as part of this role.
This is a 1.0 FTE Temporary 1 Year Contract role working 40 hours a week, Tuesday-Saturday. (Tuesday-Friday 7-3pm, Saturday 3-11pm)

Education and Experience
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should have minimally a degree/diploma in the Human Service field, experience with youth in a group living environment; be aware of trauma informed practices, and be professional, reliable and able to work independently.
Other Qualifications
· Current First Aid and CPR C
· Current Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sectors Designation
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clear driving record.

must be completed prior to the employee’s start date. Please note that this process can take
