About the Role:

Reporting

The Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Spares.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promote sales to existing clientele.
  • Identify and solicit potential clients.
  • Develop strong business relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with Accounting for customer set up.
  • Update ERP system with customer information.
  • Provide internal and external customer service to meet Avmax standards of operation/
  • Be able to meet customers' needs by evaluating existing inventory and coming up with creative solutions based on parts from assemblies and kits.
  • Work closely with the Repairs-Purchasing team to ensure quotes and final sales meet requirements.
  • Provide quotations and conduct sales transactions in Quantum.
  • Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Maintain accounts with monthly review of contacts and sales volume targets.
  • Expediting sales orders, repair orders and cores.
  • Closing sales and working with the client through the closing process.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
  • Assist with other team members as required.
  • Perform AOG on call duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a degree or diploma in related program(s) (Business, finance, economics).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Demonstrate sound analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability with MS Office Suite.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with sales methodology and excellent closing and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is considered an asset.
