As an IT Administrator, youll be the go-to tech expert for a portfolio of clients, keeping their systems running smoothly, finding ways to make their technology better, and jumping in when support is needed. Youll work hands-on with client environments, build strong relationships, and make a real impact on how clients experience their technology.

Monitor, maintain, and optimize client systems, applications, and network environmentEfficiently respond to client needs and troubleshoot or escalate issues as requiredProvide remote support for remote usersPerform server administration tasks, including user / group administration, security permissions, group policies, print servicesProvide level : 1, 2 & 3 networking support (TCP, DNS / MX, simple subnets, VLAN, VPN, firewalls, Wireless)Provide Level - 1 & 2 application support for basic COTS (Exchange, O365, SMB apps)Provide Level - 1, 2, & 3 server / database administrationDeploy / repair & replace services on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devicesInstall and configure Windows DesktopCheck events and logs and escalate issues as requiredComplete weekly and monthly Service Level Agreement tasksCreate and manage user network accountsMonitor backup / storage (SAN, NAS)Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology3-5+ years experience supporting SMB networks and systemsFundamental knowledge or exposure to the following technologies :Operating Systems : Windows 7, 8 and 10, Windows Server 2008, 2012 +R2, 2016, Linux, OSX, IOS, Android, VMWare & clustering, Hyper-V and clustering
Networking : Meraki, SonicWALL, Cisco, Juniper, Lenovo, HP, Wireless APExcellent customer service skillsHighly proficient at identifying user and system issues and resolving or escalatingProficient in configuring and deploying Microsoft Office Applications including Office 365Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasksStrong troubleshooting skillsCompTIA trainingMicrosoft Level 1 : Fundamentals (MTA) CertificationHighly proficient in remote access and conferencing toolsValid drivers license and vehicleSysGen employees are guided by our 8 Guiding Principles :
