Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time friendly, highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations for our client. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping an office running smoothly while supporting multiple teams.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this position.
You will play a key role in maintaining a professional and efficient workplace while providing administrative support across the organization.
  • Pay Rate: $ 20.00/hour
  • Location: Winnipeg, MB
  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 1-year contract

Responsibilities:
  • Manage front desk operations, including answering calls and greeting visitors
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems for office and project documentation
  • Prepare, format, and distribute reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and presentations
  • Provide administrative support to leadership, project managers, and staff
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, conference rooms, and catering logistics
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including courier shipments and tracking
  • Maintain and update office records, contact lists, and project information
  • Coordinate office maintenance and act as a primary point of contact for facility needs
  • Support document control and tracking of project documentation and deliverables
  • Order office supplies and monitor inventory levels
  • Assist with onboarding new employees (equipment, access, documentation)
  • Support internal communications, meetings, and office events (including social committee initiatives)
  • Assist in the preparation of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and closeout documentation
  • Respond to administrative inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
Qualifications:
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this position.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office coordination role
  • Experience in construction or a related industry is an asset
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional, courteous, and team-oriented attitude
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
