Unit Summary
The Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling Coordinator will support the scheduling, staffing, time and labour entry of all Unit employees. In collaboration with staff across DI, Scheduling Coordinator is accountable for: development, implementation and evaluation of staff schedules. This includes the day to day staffing needs of all employees and schedule adjustments accordingly due to sick time and vacation . The scheduler will provide consistent, fiscally responsible schedules based upon scheduling best practices, utilizing Automated Scheduling, Time and Labour Entry software. The Scheduling Coordinator must ensure employees are scheduled appropriately and pay data is captured in accordance with established policies, procedures, collective agreement provisions and ESA.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Corporate Manager of the Diagnostic Imaging, the scheduler will be required to maintain and organize schedules for all DI staff. These duties must be completed in accordance with the collective agreements and the specific staffing needs of the unit. The scheduler is responsible for reviewing and revising time and labour data into KRONOS, running reports and maintaining records according to department guidelines. The scheduler will also be responsible for departmental ordering of medical and office supplies.

Qualifications
1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. Community College Diploma in Medical Office Administration program
3. 2-3 years current experiences in Diagnostic Services/Medical Diagnostic Unit.
4. 2- 3 years relevant work experience in a scheduling/administrative environment.
5. In-depth knowledge of Union and Non-Union contracts and language related to CUPE and OPSEU and ability to apply collective agreement language.
6. In-depth knowledge of human resource policies, procedures and demonstrated ability to interpret and consistently apply these
7. Experience with Kronos ESP (Environment for Scheduling Personnel) Software or automate scheduling software is an asset.
8. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel,MS Access and keyboarding skills of 40WPM.
9. Excellent organizational and time management skills
10. Proven communication skills: verbal, written and~9 interpersonal.
