Job description
Temporary Grade 5 Teacher(Competition No. T29-2526-BSS)East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 Grade Five teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta. This is a full-time temporary contract position replacing a maternity leave. Duties are to commence on October 14, 2026, and the contract will terminate on June 29, 2027. Individuals exhibiting the following education, characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply: Bachelor of Education Ability to teach Grade 5 subjects Focus on high quality, student-centered learning Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs) Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all Interested applicants with a commitment to Excellence in Education can apply by sending the following documents to the address below: An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts A cover letter and complete resume with three references including the name of your last supervisor.
