Medical Lab Technologist - Sales Consultant
This is a unique role for a Medical Lab Technologist who is interested in moving outside of the lab into a clinical / lab solutions sales role.
You will cover Western Canada and need to be located in this region.
To be considered for the role, you must have laboratory experience working as a Medical Lab Technologist within Canada. Your experience must include work in the Pathology and / or Core Lab.
Forensics could also be considered.
You will develop relationships within hospitals and universities to increase sales through direct efforts.
Education :
Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or BMLS / BSc / MSc / PhD
Experience
2+ years of medical / clinical lab and / or clinical sales experience is ideal. Other sales / customer service experience can also be considered.
The MLT experience is most important.
Laboratory technologist experience strongly preferred
Additional requirements
- Up to 50% travel will be required for this role within Canada; some US travel may be required occasionally
- Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle (car allowance is provided)
- Ability to develop business opportunities within your dedicated region
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, project management and organization skills
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and able to work from a home office
