Overview :
Seeking a Sales Executive to join our Global Forwarding division. In this pivotal role, you'll be a driving force in expanding our Global Forwarding (International Air, Ocean & Rail) services by securing new, profitable, and sustainable customers. Your responsibilities include revenue generation, conducting face-to-face sales meetings, presenting supply chain improvement recommendations, and closing deals. As part of our industry-leading team, you'll contribute not only by achieving revenue targets but also by sharing insights and best practices to support the overall success of the unit. QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
- 3+ years of Global Forwarding outside sales experience
- Must have experience in International Air, Ocean & Rail
- Must have a "hunter" mentality and proven sales experience of exceeding quota and adding new logos
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week
- Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology
- A keen sense for business development with a clear hunter mentality

Engage with customers and potential clients regularly, maintaining relationships and ensuring ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with local assigned Account Executive / Account ManagerEnsure alignment with branch strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline developmentManage customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls, and closing deals while ensuring the regular maintenance of content within our Customer Relationships Manager (CRM) toolCollaborate with other internal departments to understand customers business challenges and supply chain goals and ensure a seamless and positive customer experienceDevelop tailored solutions that deliver value and support the customers business strategyProspect, plan, and conduct face to face visits with new prospective customers within Branch territoryRespond to sales leads generated by overseas offices or assigned by your Sales ManagerCoordinate quotes with your Sales Coordinator (where applicable) and facilitate the transition of new customers to the local Account Executive / Account ManagerIf you meet the above requirements and feel confident in your ability to perform these tasks, please apply online or submit your resume to Kathy@ascendrecruitingpartners.com
