Salary :
Salary range for the position is $88,990 to $127,923. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the Change Management Lead plays a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet strategic outcomes by focusing on the people side of change to increase employee adoption and usage.
This role will support change initiatives affecting business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures, as well as shifts in mindset, critical behaviours, relationship structures and culture.
The Change Management Lead is responsible for supporting change initiatives as assigned by the Manager.
The Change Management Lead works closely with Interior Health operational and program leaders, as well as key partners, both internally and externally, to identify needs and opportunities for change management.
This role will enable the achievement of strategic project outcomes by assessing the risk, scale and impact of the change, working to identify partners and impacts, creating and implementing change management strategies to maximize employee adoption and usage, and supporting responses to change.
The role will strive to affect and encourage adoption, increase utilization of and proficiency with relevant changes that impact employees, thereby increasing benefit realization, value creation, return on investment and the achievement of results and outcomes.
The Change Management Lead works directly with Senior Leadership to help them be active and visible change sponsor(s). This role directly supports all levels of leaders, coaching and guiding them as they navigate the change and transition with their direct reports.
The Lead role is an integral part of assigned project teams, integrating Interior Health change management models and activities into the project plans.
The Change Management Lead fosters the development of interested parties, multi-sectoral groups that work collaboratively to identify and take action on priority issues and initiatives within their communities.
In alignment with IH’s Occupational Health & Safety Program, employees shall adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times and attend all required training.
Employees are responsible to report any identified hazards, unsafe conditions or incidents to the manager or supervisor immediately.
Knowledge and experience of HCMS Workday is a focus of this position.
Travel may be a requirement of this position.
Typical duties and responsibilities :
- In collaboration with key leaders, interested parties, and corporate services, coordinates and facilitates change management processes, in accordance with Interior Health's values and leadership accountabilities.
- Develops and implements change management activities in line with Interior Health’s Change Management methodology in all projects and initiatives (e.
g. support purpose, objective and metric setting, conduct impact and readiness assessments, create and implement change management strategy, develop and execute sponsorship, engagement, communication, training and sustainment plans, and proactively identify risks and take mitigating and corrective actions.).
- Understands project management methodologies (e.g. developing project charters, work breakdown structures, schedules and work plans, engagement plans, monitoring and reporting activities), and works collaboratively with project team / project lead(s) to integrate change management and project management activities.
- In collaboration with program Manager, engages partners through a collaborative approach to planning, implementing and sustaining change initiatives.
Works with all key internal groups, patients, physicians, other providers and other external partners as needed throughout change processes.
- Consults, coaches, supports, and engages project teams, design teams, executives, and managers to support capacity-building regarding change leadership.
- Supports project / program governance creation and / or organizational design and a definition of roles and responsibilities in support of change management activities and organizational readiness.
- Researches and supports the on-going development of standardized IH change management processes, tools, educational materials, and training and development initiatives including training modules, online resources, etc.
- Acts as an advocate for the change management function, promotes the utilization of the IH change framework across all levels of the organization to affect greater benefit realization, value creation, return on investment and the achievement of results and outcomes
- Creates and conducts various change management assessments for planning and strategy purposes, determining organizational and individual readiness, and addressing emergent issues.
- Provides leadership, facilitation, coordination, and change support as required to organizational committees and planning and working groups.
- Facilitates learning and delivers education sessions aligned with successful management and integration of change.
- Provides information, reports, plans, analyses, and recommendations to the Manager, Leadership & Organization Development and / or program manager as required during the decision-making process.
- Defines and measures success metrics and monitors change progress.
- Supports a culture that embraces continuous quality improvement, psychological safety and change leadership to achieve improvements in health outcomes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
