WHAT YOU’LL DO

Role : We are seeking a talented Manager, Advanced Technology to join our Advanced Technology team. You will guide the Advanced Technology team, setting the strategic direction for innovation, and oversee advanced development projects to maintain CoolIT’s industry leadership. This role reports to the VP of Engineering and contributes to the future of scalable computer cooling solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and inspire the Advanced Technology team, promoting a culture focused on innovation and technical excellence.
• Define and implement the strategic direction for advanced technology projects, ensuring alignment with CoolIT’s product roadmap.
• Develop IP-related documents such as patent submissions and review patent drafts.
• Identify, evaluate, and champion emerging technologies relevant to liquid cooling solutions for data centers and desktop computers.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of advanced development projects, from concept to proof-of-concept and technology transfer to other teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales to ensure efforts meet market needs.
• Budget planning and management to maximize R&D output.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external research partners, universities, and technology vendors.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in relevant technologies.
• Present findings, progress, and recommendations to senior leadership, customers, tradeshows and conferences.
