Job description

Job Title: Dock Worker/Forklift Operator

Location: Edmonton, Alberta/Canada(On‑site)

Work Type: Temporary

Salary: $23

The Dock Worker/Forklift Operator role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in high-volume warehouse and dock environments, solving loading, unloading, and freight coordination challenges, and working within a fast-paced logistics, transportation, and supply chain operation. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step based on their current experience and career stage.

What you'll do

  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves.
  • Ensure loads are secure and safely transported to designated areas.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including packaging, labeling, and organizing materials.

What You’ll Bring
  • Prior experience working as a Warehouse Associate or a Dock worker.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Forklift operator.
  • A valid forklift license and other safety tickets.
  • Must have a reliable means of commuting.
  • Ability to operate a sit-down counterbalance, Raymond Reach truck, Propane and electric forklift.
