Job Description
Our client, a household name in the area of automotive plastic injection molding in Windsor, requires a seasoned CNC Programmer to join their dynamic group.
As an integral part of the design and engineering team, the qualified candidate will be responsible for the development of the cutter path programs for all machine shop CNC equipment.
He / She will utilize CAM software in conjunction with CAD designs and the appropriate CNC mill tooling.
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of experience with CNC Programming and a demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Mastercam to program cutter paths for plastic injection molds.
- Experience with Mastercam X version required.
- Demonstrated ability to view and understand 3D renderings of injection molds, tolerances, and specifications along with the ability to develop 3-D modeling while importing mold and part data would be an asset.
- Proven CNC machine experience along with a solid understanding of optimal mold design and mold building processes.
- Experience with mold part design an asset
- 5-10 yrs Plastic injection molding product and process design knowledge, Pro / E or NX mold design an asset
