Zurich Underwriting Associate Program – Calgary

Zurich Canada invites experienced customer service, administration, or insurance professionals to join the Zurich Excellence Program – Underwriting Associate Stream. This two‑year onboarding program offers mentorship, hands‑on training, and structured professional development within commercial insurance.

What you will do

• Review, evaluate, and summarize risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to support underwriting decisions.
• Follow instructions from Underwriters to accurately quote and issue policies, including policy rating, pricing, construction, coverages, exclusions, and mandatory forms.
• Provide end‑to‑end servicing support for new business, renewals, and endorsements, collaborating with Underwriter and Manager.
• Support broker / agent / distributor / customer interactions by responding to written, verbal, and telephone inquiries on time under close supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
