Our client, a leading heavy equipment provider, is looking for an HRIS Analytics Specialist to join their team in Acheson, AB.

Your new role

Reporting to the Manager, HR Systems & Analytics, the HRIS Analytics Specialist will be a key player in the advancement of HR Analytics by managing data, extracting, and integrating data, and developing metrics, dashboards & analyzes for business users.

This role will also act as functional administrator for assigned modules in the company's HR and Occupational Health and Safety systems.

The focus of this position will be to provide first level user support, analytical reports as required, ensure compliance with procedures, and explore opportunities to enhance the overall user experience.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Computer Engineering or Mathematics
  • 3+ years of systems and analytics experience in and organization of similar size, complexity, and scope
  • Knowledge of project management principles and ITIL would be an asset.
  • Experience with Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety system applications
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite experience to support report generation, collaboration, and document preparation
  • Experience using Power BI software
  • Strong analytical acumen in statistics and evaluation of data
  • Experience working with payroll and other sensitive data, complying with policy and legislation requirements pertaining to privacy, confidentiality, and data security
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner are required.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving, organizational skills, time management and the ability to multitask
