Responsibilities
a day in the life of a change management manager
Develop and implement a multi-year change strategy & approach for the programDefine and measure key success metrics and monitor change progressAssess and understand change readiness & change impacts and identify key stakeholder groups to inform required activitiesScope, plan, design and implement change and engagement activities (e.g. change impact assessments, leadership alignment, readiness assessments, hypercare & sustainment plans), to enable multi-year program(s) and support the adoption of changes required by transformation initiatives.Develop comprehensive stakeholder engagement, communications and sustainment plans that support stakeholders throughout the change journeyLead and facilitate stakeholder sessions across multiple teams to enable leadership alignment and commitmentWork with the program leadership team and Change Management COE in planning & reporting on required change management activitiesIdentify any change-related program risks and recommended mitigation stepsEngage and collaborate with other team members and partners in the business (e.g., P&C, communications, learning / training) throughout the transformation journey to plan and deliver on our transformation prioritiesProvide input, document requirements and support the design / delivery of change learning programsApplies a creative mix of new & existing frameworks, methodologies, and tools, in partnership with the Change Management COE, to ensure effective delivery of programQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations or related discipline4-8 years of experience in planning and delivering large-scale transformation programs, ideally in a change management roleCertification in Change Management is an assetExcellent communication & facilitation skills with an ability to partner with Senior Leaders and articulate messages to a variety of audiencesSelf-motivated, passionate, detail-oriented, multi-tasker extraordinaire who thrives in a fast paced environmentStrong analytical, problem solving, and root cause identification skillsDemonstrated willingness to learn on the job - has a 'growth' mindsetSummary
