Overview of the Role

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role leads the maintenance department to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective operations, overseeing mechanical, electrical, computer‑aided and plumbing technologies at our Saskatoon Plant.

Salary

$114,690.00 to $143,365.00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching to a diverse team of trades.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Apply continuous improvement strategies and stay informed on current and future technology developments.
• Develop and follow the annual maintenance budget and cost targets.
• Offer expert guidance on repair and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
• Plan schedules, staffing (manning) and material requirements.
• Secure necessary resources and tools to ensure equipment availability.
• Maintain knowledge of mechanical and electrical trades, refrigeration, sanitation, storage equipment and related machinery.
• Uphold high standards of sanitation, housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as required.
