Base pay range

CA$18.10 / hr – CA$18.10 / hr

Duration of Position

9 weeks – Part‑time training in June 2026 and full‑time camp from July 6 to August 28, 2026.

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Camp Counsellors to inspire and engage young minds through the power of art. Work with children aged 4 to 12 in a vibrant environment, leading activities, games, and art studio sessions. Develop leadership skills and be part of a passionate team committed to creativity and exploration.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging studio activities and camp‑wide art projects.
• Prioritize safety and well‑being of campers, proactively identifying and addressing risks.
• Maintain camp documentation (registration, attendance, sign‑in / out logs, permission forms, health and safety forms, timesheets).
• Serve as primary parent / guardian contact, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Organize and lead games during breaks; supervise children during meals and snack times.
• Collaborate with Summer Camp Instructors to adapt art materials and activities to meet camper needs.
• Participate in mandatory training sessions and regular staff meetings.
• Exhibit confidence and sound judgment when making decisions for campers.
• Effectively resolve conflicts among campers and report incidents to the Summer Camp Director.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio environment and manage art supplies.
• Perform additional duties as required to ensure camp success.
