We are seeking a reliable and experienced 5 ton Truck Driver to join our team. As a 5 ton Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.
This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that our products are delivered safely and on time. MUST HAVE 3 CONSECUTIVE YEARS COMMERCIAL 5 TON DRIVING EXPERIENCE, MUST HAVE HOUSE MOVING EXPERIENCE WITH A HOUSE MOVING COMPANY DRIVING 5 TON.
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, 5 ton truck
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
- Perform routine vehicle inspections / logs and maintenance, and daily manifests.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe transportation of goods
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Requirements :
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)Class 5 with Minimum 5 years commercial driving experience, clean commercial drivers abstract will be required!
- working as a 2 man crew with 5 years experience is a must !
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role ( commercial experience letter will be required)
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Experience with house moving is a must and training will be provided for commercial moving division. Fulltime hours all year round.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects (70lbs) and performing physical tasks as required
- Experience in other material handling equipment is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE STANDARD!
