You as a Project Manager, Design Build and Preconstruction will :
- Lead a team of construction and design professionals in the development of Design-Build and Alternative Delivery RFQs and RFPs for Civil projects.
- Liaise with project estimators to develop work breakdown structures and participate in subcontractors’ engagement and bid reviews, capital development, marketing, legal and facility management as required.
- Ensure high standard and competitive commercial and design strategies are developed and optimized in accordance with the RFP instructions;

- Play a strategic role in fostering a collaborative team environment, in conjunction with various discipline groups and stakeholders.
- Use experience and commercial knowledge to assess contract risk and to facilitate the execution of partnership agreements.
- Assist in the project handover process and if requested, participate in the execution phase of a project to aid in the management of preconstruction and overall project startup activities.
- Lead or support preconstruction "Construction Advisory" projects while providing construction specific expertise to the pre-development phase of Civil and Transportation Projects.
Is this the right role for you?
- You have an engineering or construction related degree / diploma and at least 8 to 10 years of Design-Build or Construction Management experience.
- You have a combination of technical training and experience working on Civil projects.
- You have working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, design development, municipal approvals, scheduling, and project management.
- You can confidently mentor a team while developing and maintaining strong client relations.
