Your Day to Day
- Supports the development of implementation plans for the Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace CSA Zstandard and associated objectives and goals.
- Analyzes existing PHS management systems and processes and makes recommendations to optimize assessing addressing and tracking key psychosocial factors impacting workforce PHS.
- Prepares PHS related reports briefings presentations communications research elements and other tools and resources as required.
- Reviews analyses and reports on PHS metrics as requested.
- Collaborates with department and portfolio leaders across the organization for a coordinated approach to the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Establishes partnerships with internal partners (e.g. Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committees Senior Health & Safety Committees Organizational Development Clinical Operations Employee experience) and external (e.g. WorkSafeBC SWITCH BC SafeCare BC Provincial Health Care Unions other health authorities) partners.
- Provides education consultation and guidance to operational leaders to support the implementation of the Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace CSA Zstandard.
- Supports ensuring compliance with collective agreements government regulations Ministry of Health directives and applicable policies and procedures with regard to occupational health and safety.
- Supports the PHS implementation plan and develops guidelines templates and critical activity pathways and makes recommendations for action.
- Supports the Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) and health promotion programs including coordination promotion and evaluation answering inquiries troubleshooting issues and corresponding with the service provider as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
