Hello! We are a family based in Barrie, Ontario, looking for a caring, dependable nanny to care for our daughter beginning in January 2027. This is a live-out, part-time position, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (approximately 28 hours per week), we hope to find someone interested in a consistent, longer-term position with our family. Our daughter’s care will be the primary focus. We are looking for someone warm, attentive, patient, and comfortable independently caring for a young child while providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Mom will be working from home during these hours and may periodically be involved in the infant’s care as needed throughout the day, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside a work-from-home parent. During appropriate downtime, we would also appreciate assistance with light household tasks, including vacuuming, loading and unloading the dishwasher, general tidying, and putting laundry into the washer and transferring it to the dryer. No laundry folding is required. Previous experience caring for infants or young children is required. CPR and First Aid certification are strongly preferred, and references from previous childcare positions would be appreciated. The position pays $17.60 per hour. Our interview process will begin with a virtual meeting to get to know one another and discuss experience and expectations.
