Serving 16 schools across Sturgeon County, our casual EAs play an essential role in supporting students with diverse learning needs whenever regular Educational Assistants are unavailable. Every day offers a new opportunity to build relationships, encourage student growth, and contribute to safe, inclusive learning environments where every student can thriveWhat You’ll Be DoingUnder the direction of the classroom teacher, you will: Provide classroom and individualized support for students across a variety of grade levels and learning environmentsAssist students with academic, social, emotional, and behavioural learning needs Encourage student independence while promoting positive relationships and inclusionSupport the implementation of classroom strategies, accommodations, and individualized learning plansFoster safe, caring, and inclusive learning environments that support student successCollaborate with teachers, school staff, and support teams to provide consistent student supportWhy This Role MattersCasual Educational Assistants are essential to ensuring students continue to receive the support they need each day.
