Purpose of the position

The Havre des Cantons residence offers a friendly atmosphere where it is stimulating to work. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent elderly people with a slight loss of autonomy.Schedule: a permanent full-time night position with every other weekend. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
  • Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
  • Respond to all emergency situations

The ideal person has :

  • Demonstrates integrity, empathy and autonomy
  • Punctuality and reliability

  • Pride in ones work

Required qualifications :

  • Formation of PDSB
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
  • Law 90 training (an asset)
