Job description

Administrative Assistant

Mature individual required for administrative support and to perform a variety of general accounting tasks in a fast paced working environment at our Mississauga office.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Receptionist duties – Greet, assist and/or direct clients and visitors
  • Receive, direct and relay telephone and fax messages, Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
  • Process mail and courier
  • Maintain the current filing system for project related items
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and social events
  • Assign and track project numbers. Setting up related file folders.
  • Enter data, such as employee time entries into system using defined Quick Books
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports, if required.
  • Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate questionable data.
  • Other administrative duties as required.

Education and Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Quickbooks experience an asset
  • Driver’s license an asset
  • Verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
  • Administrative experience an asset
