Responsibilities
- Report deficiencies by going on various site visits
- Monitor and coordinate trade scopes of work
- Coordinate and update field drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Participate in project meetings and get a chance to be part of something bigger by working closely with seasoned project professionals
- Conduct trade contractor quote reviews
- Get to visit some of our impressive projects and job sites while taking progress photos and monitoring deficiency logs knowing that you helped build that
- Be responsible for performing bid day assignments and overall bid document control. Everyone at PCL takes ownership and that includes students.
- Assistance with on-site problem solving
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
- Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup will be considered an asset.
- Access to a clean, reliable vehicle
