Robert Half is working closely with an established real estate company who is looking for a Controller to join their growing team. This great opportunity is in the East end and it is a full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities :
• Maintain system to track all construction costs, reconciling to the general ledger and the construction module in Yardi
• Prepare annual CAM statements
• Prepare charges for annual interest distribution to ACH tenants
• Provide Full Controller functions
• Prepare and analyze Net Income Reports with Variance for the Sr. Operations Manager and VP's
• Reconcile utilities sub metering remittances / Calculate and record residential electricity HST input tax credits
• Prepare cash flow reports and distributions for the senior partners and owners
• Manage accounting staff duties / Conduct annual performance reviews
Requirements:
• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in accounting / Designated or enrolled in late stages of CPA program (must)
• 3+ year’s relevant accounting experience & CAM's exposure
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proactive, responsible, self-motivated, and organized team player
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel
• Effective time management skills
