Our client is seeking a highly organized Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to support end-to-end logistics operations within our manufacturing environment. This role ensures efficient, safe, and compliant movement, storage, and documentation of materials and finished goods. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
1. Logistics Management
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective transportationSchedule carriers, verify documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulationsOptimize freight planning, routing, and carrier performance to improve service levels and reduce costsMonitor delivery performance, resolve delays or exceptions, and maintain accurate shipment recordsManage and develop Customs documentation for export and import of materialWork closely with Production, Planning, and Operations to align logistics with manufacturing schedules2. Warehouse & Inventory Management
Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, staging, and dispatchMaintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis of discrepanciesImplement and support workplace organization, material flow improvements, and inventory control proceduresEnsure safe material handling practices and adherence to facility safety standardsUtilize ERP / WMS systems to maintain real-time inventory accuracy and generate operational reportsSupport coordination between Warehouse, Production, and Quality to ensure smooth material flow3. Vendor Management
Address delivery issues, non-conformances, and communication gaps while maintaining productive relationshipsCollaborate with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Finance to maintain alignment across the supply chainSupport audits, documentation requests, and compliance requirements from internal and external stakeholdersDesired Qualifications :
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations —preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of logistics processes, warehouse operations, and inventory controlExperience using ERP or WMS systems; proficient in ExcelForklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is considered an assetExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency with a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when requiredPlease inform us if you require any accommodation during the hiring process.
