Office Administrator

Reporting to the Senior Field Business Technician – Edson, the Contract Administrator provides day-to-day administrative support for both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires the ability to work independently, apply sound judgment, and bring a strong understanding of departmental processes and business unit objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

This position is located in Edson, Alberta, and successful candidates must reside in the area.

Responsibilities

The individual is responsible for a wide range of administrative and coordination activities in a field-based setting, often dealing with sensitive and confidential information with limited supervision. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Greeting and signing in guests
• Managing and ordering office supplies
• Coordinating and tracking field requests
• Providing vendor relations support
• Reviewing and / or approving Operations invoices
• Tracking and investigating vendor spend
• Maintaining hierarchy and cost center listings
• Records management and file retention (e-filing)
• Preparing spreadsheets, presentations, and forms for operations staff
• Taking meeting minutes as required
• Organizing and ordering PPE for staff
• Coordinating safety training for staff
