Responsibilities

The selected candidate will perform the following tasks :

  • on site installation of structural steel and misc. metals
  • perform pick up and deliveries of materials from supplier / customers
  • perform SMAW and GMAW welding
  • perform shop fabrication of materials

Qualifications

  • CWB ticket is ideal
  • extensive experience with SMAW and GMAW welding processes
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with structural steel and misc. metals
  • previous shop fabrication experience
  • proven experience working with drills, saws, grinders, forklifts and aerial lifts
  • ability to work in various job environments - interior and exterior
  • great communication skills
  • valid Ontario Drivers License
