Work Location : This role is eligible for hybrid this means you’ll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office ( at Regina Commercial Claims ), on a scheduled rotation once probation requirements have been met.

Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.

The Appraisal Analyst is responsible for data analysis with respect to the auto damage appraisal program, both in Saskatchewan and nationally.

The Appraisal Analyst provides day-to-day technical and operational support for the National image, audit, and accreditation functions, as well as guidance and oversight to the Appraisal Program Administrator.

Reporting and Analysis

Conducts analysis and develops reporting on various elements of the appraisal program.

Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on appraisal image and audit results.

Analyzes data to proactively identify, research, and recommend improvements to business policy and processes.

Assists in the analysis, research, design, and documentation of appraisal accreditation program enhancements based on changing business needs.

Investigates data needs and concerns and prepares the required proposals for Corporate Claims Reporting and / or Corporate Business Intelligence Services.

Analyzes claim data and identifies risk criteria to develop the monthly audit package for the Appraisal Audit team.

Aids the appraisal leadership team with reporting and data analytics by leveraging the use of the Corporate Business Intelligence applications, Claims GIS reporting, and Estimatics and total loss software (e.

g., Mitchell and Audatex).

Assists in validating reports and data extracts to ensure correctness and completeness before delivery to end users.

Evaluates data quality, reports any issues and the scope / severity of their impact, and recommends potential resolutions.

Develops and maintains complex queries, spreadsheets, and reports (scheduled and ad hoc).

Stakeholders Relationship

Provides day-to-day technical and operational support for the appraisal program.

Presents reports and findings of analyses to the appraisal leadership team in a clear and consistent manner.

Communicates and consults with end users to determine and document requirements for data, reports, analyses, metadata, service levels, data quality, and performance.

Liaises / consults with Corporate Claims Reporting, Corporate Business Intelligence Services, Systems, industry association and / or vendors on the delivery of business system and process activities and to resolve complex issues.

Develops and maintains technical and descriptive documentation, manuals, and templates.

Audit / Accreditation Programs

Prepares monthly appraisal desk review packages.

Oversees the Accreditation Program(s), including the application process, annual self-declaration compliance, body shop accreditation levels, performance management plans, high performance partner program, and coordination of body shop communications.

Oversees the Audit Program, including the monthly appraisal desk review package, file maintenance in GIS, audit communications, and processing of recoveries.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Advanced skill in data analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, validation, and reporting.

Advanced skill in the use of data analytical software / programs.

Advanced knowledge of SGI’s body shops accreditation program, performance management process, and image and audit practices.

Proficient skill in SGI’s Estimatics and shop communication platform (e.g., ePay site, Mitchell Dashboard / WorkCenter / Mitchell Cloud Estimating).

Proficient knowledge of SGI’s appraisal policies, procedures, and programs.

Proficient knowledge of the relationship between SGI and its business partners (i.e., body shops, industry associations, industry partners, Canadian crown corporations).

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study, such as Business or Mathematics and Applied Sciences, or defined equivalency.

EXPERIENCE

5 - 7 years’ experience in the data analytics field.

Pay Range : $69,948.00 - $88,272.00
