Do you love being the person who keeps an office running smooth, calm, and professional? We are hiring a polished Receptionist to be the first point of contact for a busy construction office. If you are organized, friendly, and detail-driven, this is your lane.
Pay : $22 to $25 / hour (depending on experience)
Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location : On-site
What you’ll do
Keep the front office and reception area clean, organized, and presentable
Greet visitors, check them in, and direct them to the right team member
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls professionally
Check and route messages from the general mailbox daily
Maintain weekly and monthly staff phone coverage calendars
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, date-stamp items, and manage overnight packages
Reload postage funds as needed and support daily shipping needs
Receive and process purchase order requests daily
Notify PMs and the Construction Coordinator when deliveries arrive
Reconcile monthly credit card statements end-to-end and file backups accurately
Track office supplies, manage inventory, and place weekly supply orders (including Costco)
Create and send non-renewable City License letters as needed
Organize and file subcontractor Certificates of Insurance
Support HR with planning and organizing company events
Respond calmly and effectively to urgent situations
What we’re looking for
1+ year of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience (construction or professional services is a plus)
Strong phone presence and customer service skills
Highly organized with sharp attention to detail
Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines without dropping the ball
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
