We are currently looking for a Software Asset ManagementConsultant for one of our clients in the mining and metalindustry.

Whatis in it foryou :

Hourly salary of $80 to $100 based onexperience.

1 to 2yearcontract.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Hybridwork : 2 days per week in theoffice.

Responsibilities :

SoftwareLicensing andAdvisory :

Provide subject matter expertise for license requirements bestpractice procurement and ongoing license lifecyclemanagement.

Conduct complexsoftware licensing compliance reviews engaging numerousstakeholders.

Identifysignificant risks propose suitable resolutions and take requiredaction.

Create structure andcontrols for data management such as data held withinSharePoint / SAM (Software Asset Management)toolset.

Identify and resolveongoing problematic licensing issues with innovative ideallyautomated solutions utilizing available tools such as Power BIPower Automate and Forms.

Actively participate in identifying optimization opportunities insoftware agreements with BusinessPartners.

Actively participateand where required provide leadership and management duringsoftware publisher audits.

Formulate a strategy for obtaining license entitlements andmaintaining an uptodatelibrary.

ProcessImprovement andManagement :

Identify and create processes for the SAM team to follow aiming toreduce queries resolve issues faster improve customer service andenhance understanding of compliance position with a focus oncontinual improvement.

Monitoradherence to processes and refine or reeducate asrequired.

Create a catalog oftemplates and standards for the team toutilize.

SoftwareAsset Register (Tool)Management :

Create and monitor data quality standards within the SAM toolset toensure repeatable and trustworthyreporting.

Resolve complexlicensing issues within thetoolset.

Engage with SAM toolsetprovider to ensure effectiveutilization.

Work with technicalresources to accurately identify specialist software applicationsfor recognition andreporting.

StakeholderEngagement :

Coach and provide advice to stakeholders and support internal teamsincluding IT Procurement Finance and Legal to educate on optimalsoftware usage and procurementoptions.

DirectionandLeadership :

Provide guidance and training for new or lessexperienced teammembers.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

Bachelors degree related to theposition.

3 years of experiencein software managementprocurement.

Knowledge ofSharePoint / SAM (Software AssetManagement).

Proficiency inPowerBI Power Automate and Forms.

Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken andwritten).
