An overview of your future role atBBA
Reporting to the President and by matrix structure to the COO, the Chief Practice and Technology Officer (CPTO) is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the firm's engineering practices(professional standards), engineering and operational technological systems, innovation,quality and continuous improvement efforts, as well as the BBA University.
This role combinesleadership in engineeringmethodologies and operational technological advancements to drive efficiency and excellence across the organization. The CPTO plays a pivotalrole in ensuring the development and implementation of innovative solutions, adoption of cutting-edge technologies and enhancingengineering practices to position the firm as an industry leader.
An overview of your mandates and responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology and practice strategy aligned with the firm’s goals
- Spearhead the alignment of our firm’s technological resources, expertise and practices with our strategic goals
- Develop, implement and continually improve practice standards to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction and business performance
- Ensure practice areas meet industry standards and comply with regulations.
- Integrate advanced technology and software into engineering to boost efficiency, innovation and quality, speed of delivery and quality of deliverables, which are fundamental to our clients and our ability to compete in this ever-changing business environment
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and professional development within our teams, across all regions and practices
- Lead the adoption of new technologies and methods
- Establish and manage an innovation portfolio.
- Build partnerships with external organizations
- Design and implement educational strategies aligned with BBA’s strategic goals, and partner with universities, educational consultants and industry experts and develop
curriculums
