Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, as well as experience with custom reporting and system integrations.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for migrating data from our current stack (Oracle database) to a new stack (on .NET core and Postgres database), ensuring data integrity, and providing valuable insights through custom reports.
Key Responsibilities :
- ETL Process :
- Extract, transform, and load data from the current stack (Oracle database) to the new stack (on .NET core and Postgres database).
- Use Power Query for data transformation as part of the ETL process.
- Utilize Postman to load data into the development environment.
- Test data and configurations post-loading to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Reporting and QA :
- Create and quality-assure custom reports, preferably using Stimulesoft.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
- Integrations :
- Work on integrations between secure sites and public-facing sites, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- System Documentation :
- Document systems and processes clearly and comprehensively for end-users.
Required Qualifications :
- Proficiency in SQL and Power Query.
- Experience with different database schemas and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of data transformation and loading techniques.
- Familiarity with Postman for data loading and testing.
- Experience with creating and QA-ing custom reports, preferably using Stimulesoft.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Familiarity with Classic ASP.
- Experience with Stimulesoft for custom reporting.
Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting and explaining processes to end-users.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
