Process Engineer – Regional Water Group
Associated Engineering is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our Edmonton office. The successful candidate will work on water supply, water and wastewater treatment, reservoirs, lift stations, and pumping station projects across Alberta for both public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct studies, process modeling and analysis, and hydraulic analysis.
- Prepare assessments, reports, and detailed design documents.
- Estimate costs and develop specifications and contract documents.
- Participate in tendering and construction management activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Support mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.Post‑graduate degree specializing in water / wastewater process engineering is an asset.5+ years of experience in preliminary and detailed process design and construction management on water projects focused on water / wastewater treatment.Strong background in process modeling, analysis, design, and plant hydraulics.Proven technical skills and effective written and oral communication.Experience in a consulting environment is an asset.Committed team player with a valid driver’s license.Benefits
