Position Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our owner's team and collaborate closely with our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) services provider.

The Senior Contracts Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of contracts throughout all project phases, from inception to close-out.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish contract management processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.

2. Support project set-up activities by reviewing contract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate contractual liabilities.

3. Facilitate pre-award activities, including bid document preparation, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation support, to ensure the selection of qualified contractors / vendors.

4. Manage post-contract award activities, including contract administration, change order management, and contract close-out processes, to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project timelines.

5. Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, clarifications, and disputes, liaising between project stakeholders and external parties as necessary.

6. Maintain accurate contract records and documentation, including contracts, amendments, correspondence, and other relevant information, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

7. Interface with the EPCM services provider to align contract administration processes, resolve contractual discrepancies, and facilitate effective communication between parties.

8. Provide guidance and support to project team members on contract-related matters, ensuring awareness of contractual obligations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working as a Contracts Administrator within the Insert Industry sector.

3. Proven track record of successfully managing contracts throughout all project phases, including engineering and planning, construction, and close-out.

4. Extensive experience working with EPCM services providers and understanding of their role within project delivery.

5. Strong knowledge of contract management principles, including contract drafting, negotiation, and administration.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks and issues.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
