Sales Representative - Transportation

Adecco in partnership with our client are currently hiring a permanent full-time Sales Representative - Transportation in Toronto, ON. Our client is a leader in the transportation industry. Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience in the tire and / or transportation industry. This role requires previous sales experience and valid driver's license with and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities :

Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.

Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.

Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.

Works with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.

Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Achieves defined sales quotas.

Present solutions in a professional, concise, and comprehensive manner

Manage ongoing customer relations

Quote prices and prepare sales contracts

Embrace product knowledge training and pass on this information to customers and prospects

Qualifications :

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Previous sales experience required

Ideally have commercial transportation industry experience

Demonstrate strong organizational skills

Comprehensive computer skills or ability & willingness to learn an apply

Investigate and resolve customer needs and opportunities.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Possess positive attitude and a team player.
