We are looking for a Technical Writer who specializes in SR&ED technical documentation . This role focuses on preparing clear, accurate reports for SR&ED claims and ensuring alignment with CRA requirements. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, united by a shared commitment to making a difference—for our clients, our communities, and one another.

Your Role
- Draft and maintain detailed technical narratives for SR&ED submissions.
- Translate complex R&D activities into clear, compliant documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and project leads to gather technical details.
- Ensure all reports meet CRA standards and deadlines.
- Validate cost allocations and eligible expenditures for SR&ED projects.
- Assist with claim preparation and respond to CRA inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
- Provide guidance on SR&ED eligibility and documentation best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Medicine, or a related technical field (required).Demonstrated knowledge of the medical field, with experience working with medical professionals or organizations, preferred.Proven experience in SR&ED technical writing and tax compliance.Strong understanding of CRA SR&ED guidelines.High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Excellent communication skills including both writing and editing.Proficiency in MS Office and documentation tools.Core Competencies
Ability to translate complex scientific and medical concepts into clear, concise documentation for regulatory audiences.Advanced analytical skills, with attention to detail in technical writing and data validation.Strong organizational skills, including managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines.Effective collaboration with medical professionals, researchers, and cross-functional teams.Adaptability to evolving SR&ED guidelines and medical industry standards.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of sensitive medical information.Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking in claim preparation and review.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Where you’ll work : Windsor, ON
