About the Opportunity
Chu Cho Environmental is looking for a full-time Environmental Monitoring Specialist, Air Quality & Meteorology based in Prince George, BC , with flexibility to work from home when not required in the office or field.
Reporting to the Senior Environmental Scientist and Team Lead for Air Quality and Meteorology, you will play a key role in supporting environmental monitoring programs through field-based instrumentation work, data management, technical analysis, and reporting across northern British Columbia .
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting meteorological and air quality monitoring equipment, managing and reviewing environmental data, and contributing to clear, high-quality technical reporting that supports long-term monitoring programs.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to :
About You
To qualify, you will need a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Environmental Science or a related technical or earth science field , along with 2–3+ years of relevant experience in environmental monitoring, instrumentation support , or a closely related technical role.
A master’s degree (MSc) in a related discipline is considered a strong asset, particularly where it includes field-based research, data analysis, and technical reporting experience . A combination of education, practical experience, and field-based expertise will be considered.
