As the Store Manager, you must be an exceptional leader who can motive, inspire, and develop the store team.
In collaboration with the District Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the financial success of the store; ensuring positive customer experiences;
driving profitable top-line sales growth, and coaching store associates to consistently provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
The Store Manager understands key business drivers and adjusts the business accordingly.

- Ensure visual and merchandising standards by directing merchandise flow
- Ensure compliance with the store image, maintenance, and window dressing standards
- Assist in meeting payroll goals by ensuring appropriate floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus
- Continuously ensure the correct replenishment of the store
- Assist in the control and manage stock (both in transit and in the stockroom) and inventories

Thought : Demonstrates understanding of the business through a strong customer focus, heightened business insight and financial acumen.
Be able to make complex business decisions when the manager is not present by setting priorities and using strong decision making to act quickly.

Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of management level experience in a comparable retailer with an emphasis on home goods or design.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve individual selling goals and metrics
- Proven ability to drive sales results, able to analyze selling reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business
- Comfort in making decisions and mediating conflict within a team-environment.
- Ability to address complex issues and allocate time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to identify / assess top talent and train / develop / retain great people
- Product awareness and commercial orientation
- Customer and image-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suit products such as Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work a flex schedule (which may include nights, weekend and holiday availability)
- Ability to bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed
- Ability to climb step stools and ladders
- Ability to stand / walk for long periods at a time
- Possess manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to travel to other store locations (if needed) and attend district meetings
- This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for long periods of time. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching
