SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
JOB SUMMARY
- Be experienced in driving in winter weather conditions.
- Monitor weather correspondence and be aware of upcoming snow events.
- Safely drive a Kubota or large tractor in various and potentially extreme weather conditions including snow, rain, ice, etc.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
JOB SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Must be self-motivated
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-2 years of experience running snow / ice removal equipment, is preferred
- Ability to work in cold weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be available and reachable 24 / 7
- Shifts are on-call basis.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
- A reliable cell phone is required.
WORK CONDITIONS
Employees performing this job should be able and willing to drive or travel locally, if needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours.
Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate with snow removal activities.
This position will require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold.
