What You'll Bring to Our Client :

This role is perfect for a proactive individual who thrives on optimizing processes and collaborating with various departments. Our client is looking for someone who can step in as an overflow specialist , supporting diverse projects and bringing a fresh set of eyes to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and streamlined operations.

Your responsibilities will be broad and impactful, covering the entire spectrum of their supply chain :

• End-to-End Procurement & Supplier Management : You'll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers, maintaining approved lists, and managing Purchase Orders. This includes negotiating pricing, Incoterms, MOQs, and payment terms, as well as monitoring supplier performance to ensure optimal quality and on-time delivery.
• International & Domestic Logistics Coordination : From planning and booking shipments to selecting carriers and optimizing freight modes (LTL / FTL / parcel / air / ocean), you'll ensure the smooth flow of goods. Expertise in preparing shipping documents, managing customs brokerage, and ensuring import / export compliance (CBSA, HS codes, CUSMA, Incoterms) is crucial.
• Accurate Customer Order Data Entry & Service : You'll play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by meticulously entering and validating orders, confirming acknowledgements, and proactively communicating any changes or backorders. Your customer-centric approach will be key in coordinating special requirements with sales and customer service teams.
• Inventory & Planning Support : You'll contribute to efficient inventory management by monitoring levels, recommending replenishment strategies, and collaborating with production and planning teams to minimize shortages.
• Continuous Improvement & Compliance : Our client values innovation. You'll be empowered to identify and implement process improvements that reduce lead times, mitigate inventory risk, and optimize logistics costs. Ensuring compliance with internal controls, quality standards, and OH&S / WSIB requirements will also be a key part of your role.

The anticipated hiring range for this role is a base salary of $75,000 - $77,000 per year , plus :
