The ServiceNow Developer will be a key member of the ServiceNow team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that support SAIT’s institutional goals. This role will contribute significantly to expanding the platform’s footprint by delivering high‑quality enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities across multiple ServiceNow products.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in HR Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), CMDB, and custom or scoped application development. Experience with additional ServiceNow solutions such as SPM, Workforce & Skills Development (WSD), Field Service Operations (FSO), and other emerging modules are considered an asset.
How you’ll contribute
- Serve as a core developer supporting ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), ensuring the stability, sustainment, and continuous improvement of HR services following implementation
- Design, configure, and enhance HRSD capabilities including HR Case Management, Employee Center, HR Services, Lifecycle Events, workflows, and HR‑related scoped applications
- Build and support Employee Center and portal experiences, delivering intuitive, secure, and efficient self‑service for employees
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow solutions using platform capabilities such as Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, client‑side scripting, and integrations
- Support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, identity, document management), ensuring reliable data flow and operational continuity
- Collaborate with HR, ITS, Service Desk, and platform teams to translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with platform standards
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, manage enhancements, and deliver operational changes to minimize future project dependencies and costs
- Contribute to ITSM, CSM, CMDB, and future ServiceNow modules as required, supporting SAIT’s broader platform growth
- Maintain technical documentation, ensure security and data governance compliance, and stay current with ServiceNow releases and best practices
- Work with vendors as needed to support implementations, enhancements, and roadmap alignment
