Main tasks :

• Coordinate and participate in the setup, tear-down and maintenance of the water distribution system and other site infrastructures, according to standard company operating procedures;
• Maintain stock and inventory of plumbing and cleaning supplies for site using established tools and procedures;
• Inspect and maintain the integrity of all water and sewage systems as well as all sanitary units on the site; Ensure necessary documentation is completed and pertinent information is shared such as, but not limited to modifications made to equipment and infrastructure;
• Follow the requirements detailed for customs and logistics with regards to the transport of material with touring productions Ensure compliance with local and regional codes;
• Supervise contractors, Fly-Ins, Janitors and local supernumerary personnel during setup and tear-down and for special projects, in collaboration with the Site Operations Director.

What we look for in candidates :

• Excellent mechanical knowledge of plumbing, mandatory;
• At least six years of previous experience in a similar position;
• PLC control knowledge an asset;
• Tour experience an asset;
• Able to drive a forklift and other heavy machinery;
• Ability to work long hours and under pressure;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office for Windows applications;
• Ability to relocate or travel 100% of time, depending on role;
• Ability to obtain OSHA certification;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Other languages are an asset;
• Ability to provide appropriate work authorization;
• At least 18 years of age.
