Position Summary

The Building Operator will participate in all aspects of Rogers Arena’s preventative maintenance program and installation and operation of the ice sheet. This includes lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, and all other related equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the preventative maintenance program for HVAC, refrigeration, and other building mechanical equipment
• Participate in all aspects of installation, maintenance, and operation of ice sheet as directed
• Operate lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, and all related equipment
• Operate, inspect, and adjust HVAC controls and schedules as directed
• Operate, inspect, and adjust refrigeration plant operation, including start‑up and shut‑down of plant and related equipment
• Liaise with in‑house technical staff, internal and external clients, and contract trades people to ensure efficient operation and completion of assigned tasks
• Assist with inventory controls for all maintenance parts and supplies related to the physical plant and building operation
• Provide event‑related support for all building systems
