Position Summary :

The Human Resources Coordinator is part of the Prairies Human Resources Team supporting the Edmonton division in the areas of administrative HR support including but not limited to onboarding benefits and wellness administration company communication coordination of company events and additional project support for the team.

Note : This is a 14-month contract position. The position requires the successful candidate to be in the office 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities :

Enters data into HR systems maintain HR files and records produces HR reports

Coordinates details logistics communication and execution of various events including training wellness orientation open enrollment fairs and other divisional HR events

Schedules meetings assists with and directs incoming questions from employees

Facilitates onboarding of new employees

Works collaboratively with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on recruitment needs

Conducts payroll support activities

Supports internal communication

Participates in planning and implementation of special projects and initiatives

Participates in planning and executing various engagement activities

Ensures regulatory compliance with Employment Standards and legal requirements

Performs other duties as assigned

Able to work as part of a team

Knowledge of or ability to learn HRIS applicant tracking software Electronic Filing software and other GFS HR systems

Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Google Applications

Flexible schedule this position is based on-site
