YOUR ROLE IN OUR MISSION

As Gryd's Full-Stack Engineering Lead & Architect, you'll steer a small but mighty team of developers as we build products that make a real impact. You will serve as the bridge between product and engineering, translating business requirements into clear task descriptions and driving the roadmap by setting priorities and deadlines. This role balances hands‑on coding with team leadership, mentoring developers, championing best practices, and collaborating across teams to ensure technology scales in step with the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Technical Leadership : Guide the technical direction of projects, ensuring high‑quality software development practices and aligning with the company's strategic goals.
• Code Development : Actively contribute to coding and software development, often setting the standard for code quality and efficiency.
• Software Architect : Translate business goals into a technical blueprint that guides the engineering team on how to build the solution balancing the current software state with short and long‑term requirements.
• Team Building & Mentorship : As the team grows, participate in the hiring process, mentor junior developers, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Project & Team Management : Oversee project timelines and manage the development team, ensuring they remain focused on critical priorities and operate at optimal capacity to meet milestones on time and within budget.
• Cross‑functional Collaboration : Work closely with other teams like product management especially, but also operations, design, marketing and sales to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
