We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Food Service Supervisor to join our Tim Hortons team. In this role, you'll oversee team activities during shifts, ensuring high standards of customer service, product quality, cleanliness, and performance. You’ll lead by example, guiding your team to deliver excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. Your hands-on leadership will drive customer satisfaction, maximize team efficiency, and ensure smooth operations with a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to prioritize customer satisfaction and reinforce positive behaviors in employees.
  • Respond to customers promptly and courteously, maintaining urgency and resolving complaints to create positive outcomes.
  • Conduct regular store walk-throughs to ensure smooth operations and maintain consistent stock levels for displays, showcases, and paper products.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of both the store's interior and exterior throughout the shift, and make sure that all food safety requirements are met.
  • Address immediate issues promptly and provide clear direction to employees for efficient operations.
  • Foster a motivating work environment, encouraging goal achievement and engagement.
  • Report employee performance (positive and negative) to the Store Manager.
  • Ensure optimal employee coverage and step in during peak periods to maintain service levels.
  • Address performance issues constructively, focusing on behavior correction and morale.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Tim Hortons’ procedures, food safety, security, and relevant regulations.
  • Manage shift cash procedures, operational efficiency, and use tools like positioning charts and pre-rush checklists.
  • Supervise employees to ensure completion of primary and secondary duties while enforcing store policies on cash handling, meal breaks, and food safety.
  • Monitor unsafe actions or conditions and report concerns to management.
  • Complete required documentation, including waste records.

Qualifications

  • Previous fast-food experience or previous Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Additional certification or knowledge of Food safety and First Aid an asset
  • Ability to work as a Team and effectively coach employees throughout a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work a rotating schedule.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry up to 25 lbs., and perform tasks involving reaching and bending.
