Become an Administrative Assistant in Quebec City for Autobus Québec Métro 0,

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to the Branch Manager. In addition, the person will work with team members to support them in their day-to-day activities, while ensuring that the company’s activities and operations run smoothly.

Main responsibilities

  • Verify validity of driver’s license (employee file);
  • Create and update employee files;
  • Record invoices payable and receivable, as well as bank deposits;
  • Process payroll and various month-end documents;
  • Calculate, prepare and issue account-related documents, such as invoices and statements;
  • Solve complex payroll and accounting problems;
  • Respond to requests for information from customers or suppliers,
  • Assist management in the performance of their duties;
  • Perform other related clerical tasks, such as word processing, record keeping and filing, faxing, e-mailing and photocopying;
  • Verify and place RDS books and hours of service;
  • Dispatch school routes;
  • Act as an intermediary between the school bus service, School Service Centers and drivers;
  • Any other related duties.

  • Requirements

  • DEP in secretarial accounting or AEC in accounting and management or DEC in administrative techniques;
  • 2 years administrative experience;
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel…);
  • Ability to adapt to new software;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken French.
