ABOUT
St. Augustine School in Kitsilano is hiring a Grade 3 Teacher starting in September 2024. This is a full-time position for the entire academic year. Candidates will have a background in primary teaching and be willing and capable of working collaboratively with the teacher in our other Grade 3 class (we are a double-stream school), Education Assistants, parents, and their fellow teachers and staff members. The successful candidate will assist with the extra-curricular program of the school and be involved in school life. It is an asset to have taught primary literacy; have a proficiency in technology and, in particular, the use of SeeSaw and Google Classroom, and have experience using programs such as Reading and Writing Power, Reading A-Z, PM Benchmarks, and Second Step in your teaching are also assets.
